A Fast, Economical Alternative to Pipe Replacement?

See it at the Henkel Booth at OTC 2015!

Since 1969, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) has been a can’t-miss event for the offshore oil and gas industry

This is the place where more than 100,000 attendees gather to discuss the latest developments in drilling, exploration and technology. The 2015 OTC event will be held in Houston, Texas at the NRG (formerly Reliant) Park on May 4-7. If you plan on attending, we invite you to take a moment between the many presentations and sessions throughout each day, and stop by the Henkel booth(#841).

If you do, we’ll show you an innovative way to possibly add another 20 years of service to your steel pipes, pipelines and tanks.

The Loctite® Composite Repair System was created, following more than two years of research and testing, as a proven alternative to costly pipe replacement. This can be a recurrent issue at refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants and water utilities, especially with pipes designed for high pressure, temperature and chemical resistance.

The protections built into pipes erode over time, resulting in cracks, holes, fractures and leaks that make replacement necessary. Our Repair System uses a composite material made of resin reinforced with fibers to seal and reinforce pipes, bends, tees, reducers and flanges, adding an extra layer of resistance against mechanical wear, chemical attack and corrosion.

How much time, transport stoppage and equipment replacement cost could be saved by utilizing this on-site repair that would require no interruption of operations?

The composite repair system is accompanied by an exclusive software tool that uses a range of different parameters to calculate how the pipe repair can be most effectively executed. Henkel also offers a certified training program to ensure that the repair system is properly applied.

Come see us next week in Houston. Then, perhaps you won’t have to schedule a pipe replacement on that same calendar – at least until 2035.
